As a National Certified Counselor, I have over five years of experience helping others improve the quality of their lives. I have worked with individuals of all ages in a variety of settings, including community agencies, non-profit agencies, hospitals, community residential rehabilitation homes, and private practice. I have experience working with individuals, groups, couples, and families. I graduated from Villanova University and received my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I specialize in treating children, adolescents, and young adults on various topics that are causing them distress in their lives.
My approach to counseling depends on each individual client because I believe that each person has unique needs that cannot be met with a “one size fits all” therapeutic approach. The interventions and techniques I use come from various approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Play Therapy, Art Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy. With my experience counseling diverse clients in various settings, I have many tools in my toolbox to best meet the needs of each client. I take the time to get to know you and what will work best for you as an individual. As a life-long learner, I keep myself up to date with therapeutic techniques in order to provide you with the insight and tools you need to create positive changes in your life.
